Who’s in the room decides what you learn.
qualbids finds the participants your qualitative study depends on, and makes sure they show up. Focus groups, interviews, ethnographies, shop-alongs and diary studies. B2B and B2C, online and in person.

Finding people who match the brief
What we do
We find the people your research depends on, and get them in the room
Recruitment is all we do. Our team brings more than fifty years of combined experience finding participants in the moment, in the places where their behavior is real.
- 50+
- years of combined recruiting experience
- 9
- qualitative methods, B2B and B2C, online or in person
- 2
- ways to source: our own recruiters first, then an endorsed partner network held to your screener
- 1
- project lead from the bid to the last incentive
How it works
Every stroke of the project, from bid to wrap
Recruitment touches the whole study. Here’s where we come in, and what lands on your desk at each stage.
Sketch the bid
You tell us who you want to hear from. We tell you what it takes to find them: incidence, timing, incentive and cost. The bid is the first draft of your participant.
- You get
- An itemized bid with an honest incidence estimate
From screener to person
A screener is a portrait drawn in answers
Every question you approve adds detail. Answer by answer, the data turns into a person, and by the time someone qualifies you already know who’s walking in.

Who we recruit
Tell us who. We’ll work out how.
Most briefs arrive as one sentence. These are the kinds we get every week. Pick one to start your bid with it.
“Eight parents who switched baby formula this year.”
Screened for the behavior, then for the ability to talk about it with seven strangers.
“Twelve IT decision makers at companies over 500 people.”
Title, company size and real decision authority checked before anyone reaches your calendar.
“Someone who’ll let us into their kitchen.”
People comfortable with a researcher, a camera and a product on their counter for two weeks.
“Shoppers we can follow down the aisle.”
Real shoppers at the real store, on the day they’d actually go.
“A week of their lives, in their own words.”
Recruited for follow-through as hard as for fit, and kept engaged to the last entry.
“The people everyone else said we couldn’t find.”
Send the hard version of the brief. We’ll tell you straight whether it’s doable and what it costs.
The Right Seat Guarantee
Every seat filled by the person you asked for
If someone we recruited doesn’t match the screener you approved, or doesn’t show, we replace them. If we can’t replace them before your session, you don’t pay for that seat.
Request a bid- Scope
- Every participant we recruit, for every method, B2B and B2C.
- Conditions
- You approve the screener and recruit grid before field, and flag a mismatch within 48 hours of the session.
- If it goes wrong
- A replacement at no cost while there’s time. After that, the recruit fee for that seat comes off the invoice.
- What we commit to
- An honest incidence estimate in the bid, and an update every day we’re in field.
Team
The people who paint your participant
Five recruiters and two office pets, hung in our own gallery. Open a portrait to read what each of them notices first.
“I sincerely appreciate the openness, positivity and partnership that you exhibited throughout all of it. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for anything more from a partner.”
Request a bid
Sketch your participant. We’ll send the bid.
Three short steps. A recruiter reads every request.
- We check feasibility the day it arrives
- If something’s unclear, we call. Usually about incidence
- You get a bid with timing, incentives and cost within one business day
- No chasing and no newsletter
